On Saturday, December 14th at 7am (before dawn breaks), we will be celebrating what is known as a “Rorate” Mass, followed by a light reception held in the Newman lounge. This Mass is a special sunrise Mass of our Lady that is only said in Advent. This Mass gets its name from the beginning of the Introit of the Mass, “Rorate caeli desuper, et nubes pluant justum (“Drop down, you heavens, dew from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness.”).”
